DBA is currently hiring for experienced Heavy Civil Concrete Finishers: We are looking for hard workers with 0-3 years of experience in the field of Heavy Civil Construction. Excellent pay and benefits. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Set forming materials using your own tools Shoveling, raking, and running wheelbarrow Spreads and levels concrete to specified depth and consistency Smoothing and shaping surfaces of freshly poured concrete. Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces Molds expansion joints and edges May direct sub-grade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms. The ideal candidate must exhibit/have: Attention to safety and the ability to work safely at all times Two (2) to five (5) years of previous heavy civil concrete experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is preferred Knowledge of concrete fabrication techniques Ability to work without close supervision and be able to adapt to a wide variety of conditions Ability to verify levelness Ability to follow directions and work as a team is a must Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency Pride in craftsmanship Must have reliable transportation to the Jobsite Must be capable of lifting 75lbs. Keeps tools and work area clean/free of debris Pay rate is dependent on experience All applicants must be willing to work in ALL seasonal outdoor conditions. Work hours vary depending on job and time of the year.
