Pay range = $37-43/hr depending on experience
Must be able to drive a company vehicle and pass a drug test. Commercial Foreman are working foreman, meaning at times they have to get on the wall and lay block with their crew.
Participation in the bonus program (which is per project availability to be paid a bonus per project) as well as additional benefits not available to hourly employees (more time off, more paid holidays depending on length of service).
Sargon is a family-owned company specializing in masonry, stone and steel construction. Sargon Masonry Construction is a full-service land development and commercial masonry contractor specializing in perimeter fencing, retaining walls, masonry structures, entry monuments, footings and many other various design-build retaining wall systems.
The Commercial Foreman role will manage the daily on-site production of commercial projects in the Arizona market. This position will manage and coordinate daily site activities for masonry construction from pre-planning through project close-out. This position reports directly to the Commercial Superintendent works closely with the Commercial Project Manager and Coordinator.
Primary Scope Responsible For:
At the direction of the Superintendent, supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of
employees and sub-contractors
Oversee and manage production schedules at the direction of the Superintendent and Project
Manager to ensure production timeline meets monthly billing estimates
Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that
specifications are met
Communicate daily with Project Coordinator to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials
and supplies
Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities and subcontractors on the
jobsite
Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs (approved
by Commercial Superintendent)
Proactively identify potential obstacles to production timelines (interruptions to equipment,
materials, labor, etc)
Schedule delivery loads with the Project Coordinator
Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving
production methods or implementing motivational plans as well as expectations
Accurate and timely documentation of any issues related to a member of your team (Discipline
Documentation Form, Internal Injury Forms, OSHA300A, etc.)
Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and Sargon
company culture & policies
Evaluate new hires for skill level and pay rate determinations at the direction of the Commercial
Superintendent
Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or
reports, including Safety Meetings, Block Counts, and Equipment Maintenance Checklists
Maintain jobsite equipment or machinery and when required Arrange for repairs of equipment
or machinery

Communicate with client’s Project Manager, on a daily basis, to establish and ensure goals are
being met
Daily and weekly submission of required paperwork (including but not limited to):
o Weekly Update
o Dust Log
o Safety Meeting Sign In
o Weekly Safety Equipment Checklist
o Update Steel Tracker
o Sign Off / On for timesheets (weekly)
o Sign off for checks
o Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, termination, or hires
Maintain 3-week projections and project schedules
Ensure the overall quality and completeness of projects
Accurately and timely reporting of expenses to accounting department on a weekly basis
Other duties as assigned

Sargon Masonry Construction offers competitive, hourly compensation between $37.00 and $43.00 per
hour, depending on experience and skill level. This is full-time, hourly position. Sargon offers Medical,
